This is video I recorded and edited from my visit to the Ancient City con here in Jacksonville, FL. There weren't many nationally known guests, but there were a lot of cool local people, including the comic book artist/chef Jennifer "Scraps" Walker and the band The Cog is Dead.

Mickey from Dr. Who!

This could be interesting. I loved the character Mickey in Dr. Who, and I think Noel Clarke did a great job in Star Trek Into Darkness, also. I saw him at Dragon*Con and thought he was a natural in front of the microphone.

Tabletop Day Live Stream on Geek and Sundry

It's Tabletop Day. I have a Geek Battle trivia game I want to play, but no one to play with. My boyfriend doesn't want to play, but he offered up his imaginary friend. We joke that his imaginary friend is Toby from the Paranormal Activity movies, but I figured he'd be a sore loser and would physically destroy the game. So, I said no. So, I'm watching people play a tabletop game instead.

Mahayla - "Just Call"

They have an interesting story. According to their Soundcloud page, the main songwriter and singer, Dave Fera, went through a lot of rough years to get to where he is now. I'm glad he got his wakeup call, and I hope the band continues to tour and record good music.
