What's My Mother F'in Name?

Before you judge, keep in mind that she *never* does what he probably wants her to do.

I'm just sayin'. I love it that he's getting cock-blocked the whole time!

Morning Brigade, "Above Our Heads"

This is the perfect music to listen to on a Sunday morning. I'm trying to relax!

Psych's Opening Musical Number

I'm sure, like me, you've been an avid fan of Psych for the whole 7-year run, right? I mean, how could you not be? It's funny, original, self-referential and somehow always manages to bring the pieces of mystery together to form a complete story. That's more than I can say for some of the other shows on the air.

So, how stoked are you for the musical episode? Very stoked? Me too!

If you can't wait until tomorrow at 9 Eastern, then go ahead and click the player above. You'll see the entire opening scene: a musical number called "Santa Barbara Skies."

I'm so glad this show is back.

Craft Beer Nation

What happens when most of the regulars don't show up for Craft Beer Nation?

This is what happens!

It was awesome, though. We had a good conversation about deployments and Thanksgiving.

I had a fishy-tasting beer that I liked.

Breaking Bad Alternate Ending

I hope you're still able to see the alternate ending! I read that it was taken offline.

Think Bob Newhart + Breaking Bad.
If you search online, you'll probably find it. If not, it reportedly will be in the Nov. 26th DVD release.

Breaking Back

I don't know where this came from, but it made my Sunday. I'm a little grossed out by Malcom's dad being at Malcolm's mom's back door, though.

Vivian and Stuart Williams

I felt like hearing some fiddle music today, and Vivian is one of the best in the States!

New "The Killing" Episodes!

I'm so happy. This has turned a sucky-ish night into a winner. I stuck with The Killing through "huh-ness?" and "OMG-ness!!"

Not everyone did. I almost fell off the couch when I watched the last few scenes of the season 3's last episode. And then...it was cancelled. AGAIN.

But now! Now! Netflix! I love you! Thank you.

Please don't re-cancel it. I'm cool with this being the last season, as long as we get it.

Cerulean's Love of Science Fiction

I'm starting a new blog as part of the ScannerDrome website. It's called Cerulean's Love of Science Fiction, and it's going to be specifically for science fiction related articles, video, etc. Basically, aside from music and writing, it's what I do.

I might learn how to hook that blog into this blog. Regardless, Cerulean's Love of Pop Culture will continue to ride.

Sorry, I'm watching Sleepy Hollow.

The Aquaducks, "Fuel the Funk"

Wolf Alice, "Blush"

This is a beautiful song! I'm not too familiar with the band, but I think for the video they mixed up the jobs.

The Cookie Monster, "But Me Wait"

What makes me love it more is it's on Sesame Street's Youtube channel.

AMC's The Killing

If you're one of the folks who gave up The Killing, this season has turned it all back around to what was so great in season one. Heartbreaking, realistic, and brave. I didn't move during the most recent episode, "The Reckoning." I still feel every ounce of the characters' despair. This article spoils the episode completely, but the writer captures everything that was perfect about Joel Kinnaman's performance.

Note! This video shows the depth of this episode, but it also shows the revelations in this episode. So, spoiler alert!

Georgia's Horse, "Ginger."

You can download this song or stream it. It's a very slow, atmospheric alt-country song.

This isn't at all "pop culture," but I wanted it on my blog. I'm so glad this program is in place.

TableTop day!

Today is Table top day! Unfortunately, my boyfriend is asleep, and I have a beer show to do tonight, so if I play any table top games, it will be with myself. I'm so tired of playing games with myself. Anyhoos, I'm sure I'll check out Felicia Day's live streaming of her day. In the meantime, I've been watching Wil Wheaton play a game that looks awesome - Pandemic. I want this game!

CDZA

I've only watched a few of their videos, but so far I'm very impressed. I can tell a lot of thought goes into planning and executing their videos. The singers/musicians are all very talented, and the arrangements are very creative.

Trudie Lem: Spaceship Captain, Earth Detective, Episode 2

The second episode of my scifi book podcast is up! I've finished writing the book, and I plan to release the book version soon via Amazon and other outlets. In the meantime, I'm offering it free as a podcast.

Stargate SG-1 Trailer

I miss Stargate SG-1 so much that I almost start to cry just thinking about it. It's like I lost a friend who helped me through a lot of rough times. Sure, I've got the DVDs, but I miss the new experiences. I've never been much of a video game player, but if it means new SG-1, I might get this.

BBT Before We Knew Them

Big Bang Theory Stars Before They Were Stars

The pictures are toward the bottom.

FYI: The page plays (and pops up)  a lot of ads. It was hard to get through all of the pictures.

Supernatural

This is what I'm watching in between editing. I think my favorite this season has been Felicia Day's episode, LARP and the Real girl.

Petra Haden Performs the Superman Theme

Petra Haden, one of my favorite vocalists, has a new album: Petra Haden goes to the movies. Notice, I said "vocalist." She does all of the music with her voice. No actual instruments.

Arya's grown up a lot! I don't think she'll be able to pass for a boy much longer.

Tekzilla, Best of CES

CES! All the stuff I'll probably never get :/ It's not in this video, but I saw a video of a Wii massage console on demo at CES. I totally want that. Also, in another video I saw a computer interface that's controlled by your eye movement. So I guess if I fall asleep it stops moving :)

Haven Coming Back

One of my favorite shows, Haven, has been missing from Syfy for the last few weeks. I'd wondered what happened, but this article from TVLine explains. I understand now, and I'm not faulting the network at all for their decision.
