ScannerDrome

This our latest ScannerDrome episode. We recorded it last night. Please don't let the length deter you :) I understand if you skip around. We talk a lot about the TV show Dominion, and the movie Storage 24, which we both really love.

Psych's Opening Musical Number

I'm sure, like me, you've been an avid fan of Psych for the whole 7-year run, right? I mean, how could you not be? It's funny, original, self-referential and somehow always manages to bring the pieces of mystery together to form a complete story. That's more than I can say for some of the other shows on the air.

So, how stoked are you for the musical episode? Very stoked? Me too!

If you can't wait until tomorrow at 9 Eastern, then go ahead and click the player above. You'll see the entire opening scene: a musical number called "Santa Barbara Skies."

I'm so glad this show is back.

Breaking Bad Alternate Ending

I hope you're still able to see the alternate ending! I read that it was taken offline.

Think Bob Newhart + Breaking Bad.
If you search online, you'll probably find it. If not, it reportedly will be in the Nov. 26th DVD release.

Breaking Back

I don't know where this came from, but it made my Sunday. I'm a little grossed out by Malcom's dad being at Malcolm's mom's back door, though.

New "The Killing" Episodes!

I'm so happy. This has turned a sucky-ish night into a winner. I stuck with The Killing through "huh-ness?" and "OMG-ness!!"

Not everyone did. I almost fell off the couch when I watched the last few scenes of the season 3's last episode. And then...it was cancelled. AGAIN.

But now! Now! Netflix! I love you! Thank you.

Please don't re-cancel it. I'm cool with this being the last season, as long as we get it.

AMC's The Killing

If you're one of the folks who gave up The Killing, this season has turned it all back around to what was so great in season one. Heartbreaking, realistic, and brave. I didn't move during the most recent episode, "The Reckoning." I still feel every ounce of the characters' despair. This article spoils the episode completely, but the writer captures everything that was perfect about Joel Kinnaman's performance.

Note! This video shows the depth of this episode, but it also shows the revelations in this episode. So, spoiler alert!

BBT Before We Knew Them

Big Bang Theory Stars Before They Were Stars

The pictures are toward the bottom.

FYI: The page plays (and pops up)  a lot of ads. It was hard to get through all of the pictures.

Supernatural

This is what I'm watching in between editing. I think my favorite this season has been Felicia Day's episode, LARP and the Real girl.

New Game of Thrones Video

Arya's grown up a lot! I don't think she'll be able to pass for a boy much longer.

Haven Coming Back

One of my favorite shows, Haven, has been missing from Syfy for the last few weeks. I'd wondered what happened, but this article from TVLine explains. I understand now, and I'm not faulting the network at all for their decision.

I Miss Firefly

The Firefly cast talks about the episodes they would have liked to have seen. Also, The Science Channel is airing their special, Firefly: Browncoats Unite, Sunday. I wish I had the Science channel. Maybe I'll be able to see it on On Demand anyway.
