I.E. and Blogspot are not cooperating

I haven't checked how this blog looks in I.E. in awhile. It's not loading. I limited the number of posts on a page to three; it's still not loading. I'll wait and see if it sorts its problem out. Found the problem. It wasn't liking the podcast player code, apparently.

Dang

Larry Hagman died. I'm glad he got to play J.R. Ewing one more time, though.

I loved Major Nelson the most, though :)

World War Z

I'm not sure about this. It could be an awesome, thrilling movie, but I'm not sure it will resemble the book its named after. I read the book last year and I remember thinking that it was really a dozen or so disparate stories of survival, with no constant thread except the zombie apocalypse. Even the one continuous character, the narrator, was largely unknown and unheard. He was just there to introduce the survivors. The character didn't have much of his own personality, I thought.

When I first heard there was going to be a movie based on it, I remember thinking "How?" How are they going to wrangle all of these uncommon components? But maybe they have. They probably did have to change the structure of the story and develop the narrator's character. Here's hoping they did a good job.

Oh, and The Killing Lady! Mireille Enos. It's nice to see her! Thank you to io9 for the link.

Killing Me Softly With His Teeth...

This looks like it could be really good! It seems more of a Frankenstein-type story.
Also, if you ever watched About a Boy, I would like for you to keep in mind that this is the kid from that movie. Yes, this is the kid that brazenly, badly cracked out "Killing Me Softly" on stage with Hugh Grant.
Heh. It would have been cute if they'd named the movie "Killing Me Softly".
Thank you to io9 for the video.

I Miss Firefly

The Firefly cast talks about the episodes they would have liked to have seen. Also, The Science Channel is airing their special, Firefly: Browncoats Unite, Sunday. I wish I had the Science channel. Maybe I'll be able to see it on On Demand anyway.

BSG Blood and Chrome Web Series

New BSG!!! I don't care if it's Captain Elmo; it's new BSG!

Gleegham Style

I might check back into Glee for this one. I still prefer "Klingon Style," though.
